Pizza Dough

 

Pizza Dough can be super complex with lots of resting periods for hours on end, or it can be stupid simple with very few steps. Seeing as I’ll be making calzones this evening, I’ve optioned for stupid simple.


Ingredients:

  1. •3 cups all-purpose flour

  2. •1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast

  3. •2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  4. •1 teaspoon salt

  5. •1 tablespoon granulated sugar

  6. •1 cup warm water (110ºF / 45ºC)


Procedure:

Combine flour, salt, sugar, and yeast in a large bowl.


Mix in oil and warm water until combined.


Shape into a ball and let rest in an oiled bowl for at least 15 minutes.


Done!


If making Pizza, spread out into a round on a sheet pan or pizza stone, top with your favorite toppings then cook at 375ºF (preheated oven) for 20 to 22 minutes.
